Rules of Procedure & General Conditions of Sale

RULES OF PROCEDURE

In accordance with the law, these rules are displayed at the hotel reception desk.

Consequently, any reservation request implies adherence to these rules and their complete and unreserved acceptance.

Article 1 : Respect & Decency

We reserve the right not to accept customers wearing indecent and/or negligent clothing or clothing intended to conceal the face (Law N°2010-1192 of 11 October 2010). The same applies to behaviour that is noisy, improper, alcoholic or contrary to public decency and order.

All bookings are by name only and may under no circumstances be transferred to a third party, whether free of charge or in return for payment. As a reminder, all bookings must be made out in the name of the third party holding the holiday.

All persons accessing the hotel must report to the hotel reception.

Guests must refrain from any verbal or physical violence, any behaviour or comments of a sexual, racist, anti-Semitic or homophobic nature, or any form of harassment.

Article 2 : Check-In

Rooms are available from 4pm on the day of arrival.

It is therefore not possible to require you to occupy your room before 4pm.

However, if your room is available a little earlier (around 3pm), we can give you the keys on arrival at no extra charge.

On request and subject to availability, you can bring your check-in time forward to 12.30 p.m. in order to gain access to your room (€25 supplement payable locally).

If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, you must contact us by telephone or e-mail; we will send you your personal codes to gain access to your room 24 hours a day.

Article 3 : Check-out

Your room must be vacated by 11:00 at the latest.

You may leave your luggage at the hotel reception for the rest of the day if you wish.

Any luggage left in the room after 11:00 without renewal of the rental will be removed from the room and placed in the luggage room. It can be collected by its owner from the hotel reception.

On request and subject to availability, you may postpone your check-out time until 2 p.m. (€25 supplement payable locally).

In the event of departure after 14:00, an additional night will be charged.

If you wish to keep the room for an extra night, you must inform reception before 11:00 on the same day, subject to availability.

Article 4 : Occupation of rooms

All bookings are by name only and may under no circumstances be transferred to a third party, whether free of charge or in return for payment.

All bookings for third parties must be made out in the name of the third party.

Third parties may not be admitted to the room without our prior authorization.

Rooms must be left accessible at least once a day so that hotel staff can clean them (unless you expressly request otherwise).

In accordance with fire safety regulations, it is strictly forbidden to book a room for more people than the number envisaged and/or to have the room occupied by more people than the number envisaged.

All persons staying in the establishment must present a valid form of identification on arrival. Failing this, we may refuse to rent you a room and/or cancel the reservation you have made.

Article 5 : Access badges

The magnetic badge for access to the room is allocated personally; it is advisable to take care of it and to inform us immediately of any loss or disappearance.

An identity check will automatically be requested when the badge is renewed.

It is forbidden to entrust your badge to a third party.

All persons accessing the hotel must report to reception; it is therefore forbidden to bring strangers into the hotel without our prior agreement.

The badge must be returned on the day of departure.

You must ensure that your room door is closed before leaving your room or at night before going to bed.

Article 6 : Responsibility

You agree and undertake to use the room (as well as the communal areas made available to you) with due care and in a reasonable manner.

The rooms made available to you are checked, functional and in good condition.

Any behaviour contrary to the principles of safety and/or hygiene, public decency and/or public order may lead us to ask you to leave the establishment.

Children are the sole responsibility of their parents.

Any damage or nuisance caused intentionally or unintentionally must be paid for by the person who booked the room, unless they can prove an external cause.

Safety deposit boxes are available in the rooms; we decline all responsibility for valuables not deposited in these boxes.

Article 7 : Payment

You must pay your room charges, taxes, consumption and incidental expenses no later than when you leave the hotel.

If you accidentally forget to pay the bill for your stay, you expressly authorize us to debit the credit card you gave us when you made your reservation (in accordance with the register you signed at reception on the day of your arrival).

Article 8 : No smoking / No vaping

For safety reasons and out of respect for everyone, smoking and/or vaping is strictly prohibited in the rooms (even with the window open) and communal areas of the hotel.

Smoking on the premises may result in a fixed fine of €68 or prosecution:

– Decree no. 2017-633 of 25 April 2017 on the conditions for applying the ban on vaping in certain places for collective use.

– Decree no. 2006-1386 of 15 November 2006 setting the conditions for applying the ban on smoking in places designated for collective use.

Non-compliance with the smoking ban: if we notice tobacco odors in your room after your departure, we will be unable to re-let it for the following night.

In addition to the fixed fine of €68, smoking or vaping in the rooms, even with the window open, will result in an additional night’s charge.

In addition, the use of an electronic cigarette or chicha may trigger the fire alarm (the smoke detectors installed in the rooms are very sensitive), which will automatically result in the evacuation of all hotel guests.

Any accidental activation of the fire alarm due to non-compliance with this provision will be billed at €150 to cover the cost of restarting the fire safety system.

Article 9 : Other prohibitions

It is strictly forbidden to bring into the rooms or any part of the establishment any illegal and/or dangerous objects or substances, any type of object or toy having the appearance of a firearm, any type of object or toy that may disturb the peace and quiet of other guests (megaphones, horns, etc.).

It is forbidden to run, roll (skates, scooters, etc.) or shout in the establishment, day or night, to hang laundry in the windows, to throw any object out of the window and, in general, to behave in a way that could cause any kind of harm to hotel guests, hotel staff and/or the hotel’s reputation.

It is forbidden to take photographs of other occupants of the hotel or staff, except with the express agreement of the persons concerned.

If we consider it appropriate, we may remove any alcoholic beverages found in the room, particularly in the event of drunkenness in the public area of the hotel or nuisance.

Article 10 : Nuisances

A hotel room is a place of rest.

For the respect and peace of other guests, you must ensure that you do not slam doors or make noise (particularly between 22.00 and 8.00).

Any noise in the neighbourhood caused by the behaviour of a guest, one of their companions or an animal under their care may lead us to ask you to leave the establishment, without the need to take acoustic measurements, if the noise is such as to disturb the peace and quiet of other guests (articles R1334-30 and R-1334-31 of the Public Health Code).

Any compensation offered to a third party as a result of the nuisance caused by you may be charged to you.

It is strictly forbidden to sell anything on the premises.

It is also forbidden to cook or eat in rooms that are not equipped with a kitchenette.

Article 11 : Data protection – Internet access

We offer WIFI internet access. The user customer undertakes to ensure that the computer resources made available to him/her will not be used in any way for the purposes of reproduction, representation, making available or communication to the public of works or objects protected by copyright or neighbouring rights, such as texts, photographic images, audiovisual musical works, software and video games, without the authorisation of the holders of the rights provided for in Books I and II of the Intellectual Property Code, where such authorisation is required.

We accept no responsibility for the actual availability, suitability or reliability of Internet access for any purpose.

The hotel reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to block access to certain sites or services via WIFI (e.g. violent, pornographic or pay sites). The customer is solely responsible for providing all the technical and organisational conditions for using the WIFI network.

WIFI access only allows access to the Internet; antivirus protection and a firewall are not provided.

The data traffic generated using the WIFI network is not encrypted; it is therefore possible for the data to be viewed by third parties.

Use of the WIFI network is at the guest’s own risk, and the guest is obliged to comply with the law in force when using WIFI/Internet.

The user releases the hotel owner from all damages and claims by third parties based on illegal use of the WIFI / Internet network, and the hotel declines all liability for damage to the guest’s computer resulting from use of Internet access.

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act 78-17, we hereby inform you that your reservation is subject to computerized personal data processing. You have the right to access and rectify the data entered. Please note that this information will not be passed on to third parties.
